Brent Reynolds
Brent is the Technical Director on the Song Circling All the Earth 2006 Tour. He’s also often my “right-hand person” at the church. As a member of the Tech Team at Knox, he has been invaluable—not just as a “techie,” but also as a patient and careful teacher as he’s helped others become knowledgeable and comfortable with the sound, lighting, and computer systems. —RK
Brent Reynolds was born in Toronto and lived the first six years of his life in Oakville, Ontario. His family moved to Parksville, BC which is situated on Vancouver Island’s east coast in the early ‘90s. He graduated from high school in 2003 and has since completed his first year of engineering at Malaspina University in nearby Nanaimo while working part time at a local farm.
Brent plans to continue his studies at the University of Victoria in January 2007 where he hopes to get his doctorate in mechanical engineering. In his spare time (ha!) he likes to go backpacking into remote areas such as Strathcona Park. He also enjoys rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, surfing and occasionally skiing. Brent says he’s been called a computer nerd by his friends and family and it’s true that he does enjoy programming and web design. He likes to listen to most types of music ranging from Gordon Lightfoot to Lil Jon and everything in between.
Brent has been a member of Knox United Church since 2000. He’s been part of the Technical Team since the completion of a major renovation at the church in 2005.
