Lyrics:

I wonder now, when God made us,
how long it took?
How big a fuss
to make some words,
to make some talk,
to keep us happy when we walk!

I think God gave us games to play.
I’‘m sure God knew
the words to say.
for God spoke first,
that part is clear,
and wanted people around to hear.

Now, Jesus was God’s word alive,
love taking feet
and hands and mind.
And when he spoke,
you had to hear
His words brought love and God was near.

The words we speak can do God’s work,
can bring a smile
and heal a hurt.
We worship God,
we pray and sing,
until God’s word fills everything!
